Okay I'm friggin lazy to arrange the scans.
Back in Secondary1 and2 I wrote a number of books (lame stuff but nostalgic nevertheless):
-Broken Legend (I lost this one fuck)
-Broken Legend 2
-Vampire Tragedy (3. Volumes)
-Crimson Tears (This one was never finished)
Plus a bunch of other short stories (like Clayton the Hero, which I recall I wrote to cheer him up lol) which I'm not really going to mention here.

Back then, I had a close friend by the name of Toh Wei Jie.
We hardly paid attention in classes and wrote our books in the middle of lessons (lol).
I am still in possession of the very first book he wrote (It was one of those extra-thick exercise books), 'The Book of Coz"; I did try to return it to him but it never worked out.
When he first started out, all his stories were some kind of insult directed at Yu Ming (HAHAHAH).
There was even a page dedicated to some kind of sign-if-you-hate-YuMing petition, gosh lol.
Then he went on and started writing Warcraft fanfiction - I gotta say, till this date, I still find it entertaining. There were fictional characters included like Emden, Arthas's brother and Goldbourne, a high-level paladin sword.
I don't know if he's still holding on to his second book (really doubt it), but if it still exists in on this earth, I would really like to read it.

I've beaten the Final Four, advanced to the final tournament and THERE'S A GLITCH.
A glitch that freezes the fucken game, OH that's just great. Now I'm stucked.
About time I dropped this game anyway.
Here's another bug that randomly occurs. Your skillset goes missing in a tournament -.-
Lesson learnt: Always save in multiple save slates when playing MR on an emulator
HEH what a joke, I beat a S class Durahan when my skillset went missing (my SPD, LIF and DEF were like 100+? you just can't lose in MR with an emulator)
It hit me while I was out strolling at AMK this evening, so I decided to make a comparison chart out of my thoughts.
Anime production companies spend loads of MONEY \($_$)/ paying off their seiyuu's, the animation team, hiring singers for their OP and ED songs and soundtrack composers - all that labour costs to produce a DVD set that sells for $20-30.
Mangakas pretty much work on their own, and a full set of the manga he produces sells easily for over $50.
All that money to produce something that sells for even lesser than a set of manga that has minimum labour/production costs. If you still don't get the picture, think of it this way:
Guy A:
Spends $5 to publish a book that sells for $10
Guy B:
Spends $1 to publish a book that sells for $15
To top it off, you actually finish a manga series way faster than you would with an anime series, so you're paying more to enjoy less (less in the sense of duration and time, not satisfaction).
To wrap things up in a nutshell: Why read manga when there's a cheaper and much more entertaining alternative?? And is something wrong here?? Why such a huge discrepancy in the cost efficiency?
P.s:
Yes I am aware that the animation companies do earn back their money's worth from the number of viewerships they get when they broadcast them over the TV, but well yeah we don't live in Japan so go take a hike
Time to rant a little on FF 4HoL.
I don't care what others think, but this game deserves a downright 10/10 if you ask me.
I once came across a Youtube comment stating that this game invokes nostalgia. Ain't that damn right.
Someone told me he didn't like the battle system, but I personally find it to be rather innovative, though with the right setup you can perpetually heal your teammates (since there's no MP involved). That's a little broken but It's not that big of an issue.

The soundtrack is supreme. Nothing beats good old 8-bit music. My favourite tracks has to be Horne's theme and the theme while flying on the Dragon's back. When I first started a new game and heard Horne's theme music, I paused to listen to it and then I thought, "This is it. This is going to be one hell of an awesome game." Yes, this is what I call FF music. Not all that FF XIII, ambient bullcrap.
It is commendable that the development team included various classic RPG elements such as puzzle-solving and mini-games. Also, this game is nonlinear in the sense that you have to figure out by your own where to go next (sometimes the Wayfarer dog's hints can be rather vague), instead of just being led around by the nose.
Gotta say I really enjoyed playing this, and I hope for the second game to be as great as if not better than this.
